Day by day
Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in and time to rest, begin an active walking introduction to Georgia’s capital. Start around Metekhi, cross the Mtkvari River toward Rike Park and take the cable car toward Narikala Fortress. Walk along the ridge toward the Mother of Georgia monument before descending into the old town. Explore Abanotubani, Leghvtakhevi Canyon and Waterfall, Meidan Square and the traditional wooden- balcony streets. This first day is intentionally relatively easy before the mountain section of the trip. Overnight: Tbilisi Walking: approximately 3–4 hours Difficulty: Easy
